METHOD & IMPLEMENTATION

A custom globe workflow designed for route data.

I rendered the project with Globe Maps, a custom MapLibre mapping skill I created for three-dimensional route visualization. It guided the globe projection, atmospheric treatment, style-load sequencing, densified great-circle geometry, selection behavior, and antimeridian handling that keep each route attached to the sphere.

A Python pipeline groups the eBay orders, generalizes destinations to city and town centroids, geocodes them, calculates estimated great-circle distance, and publishes only allow-listed fields. International orders are shown as two-stage journeys when the source export includes both the domestic handoff and final destination.
